The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living will hold some workshops called “Look and Feel Housing and Life in Edo-Period and Modern Osaka” and a symposium on “Traditional Culture and Life in Osaka” as below. This will be held as a part of a project called Workshop on “Traditional Culture, Housing and Life in Japan(Osaka)” with international participants—“Traditional Culture, Housing and Life” in The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living and Yoshida Family Residence— Transfer to “Sympathy” from “Experience.”

Location: The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living & Yoshida Family Residence,
near Tenjimbashi 6 chome station in Osaka City
・Experience “Traditional Culture, Housing and Life,” walking in The Osaka Museum of
Housing, where Osaka streetscape of Edo-Period was recreated in real scale.
・Wearing a Kimono, participate some performances, walking around traditional
houses and experience “Edo-Period Life.”
・Experience “Sui(chic)” of Traditional Culture in Osaka at Yoshida Family Residence.
For example, through “Calligraphy” “Tea ceremony” “Traditional Dance in Osaka.”
※This event will be held for international participants, limited 20 participants each
time.
